I stayed for 2 nights in a Double Room. The historic building and furnishings were beautiful. My room had a balcony with stunning views of the ravine and castles. The staff was very attentive and shared great local insights. Breakfast was a delicious start to the day. 🌄

We had such a lekker time! The public areas are like stepping back in time, with that old-school vibe. The staff were chill and super helpful, sharing cool tips about Sintra. Plus, waking up to that garden view from our balcony was just magic!

it’s truly shocking that a so-called premium hotel has such terrible conditions. my romantic double room had chipped furniture and no hot water machine. i was expecting a complimentary gesture after suffering with a stained bathtub, but alas, nothing. i almost considered giving a good review, but how could i with all this disappointment?

Recommend it for history buffs

The views from my room were stunning, really breathtaking. I loved sitting by the window and just absorbing the atmosphere, makes you feel like you time traveled.

Electrical issues cropped up as well, with loose sockets and instances of power failing when devices were plugged in. The hotel has some charm, but the lack of sufficient maintenance and cleaning standards in common areas was noticeable, leading to an overall feeling that it doesn’t quite meet the five-star hype.

great atmosphere but quality of service fluctuated

The staff delivered outstanding service throughout our stay. Our double room was exceptionally clean and had a magnificent view of the garden. Breakfast was a delightful experience with a variety of fresh fruits, cakes, and perfectly scrambled eggs that made us feel pampered.

The location is perfect for exploring shops and restaurants, and the views from our room were simply stunning.

the room could use more electrical outlets (only a couple available). however, the views from our balcony were spectacular (really breathtaking! ), and the breakfast selection was decent (especially enjoyed the pastries! ). staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We stayed for 2 nights in a lovely Superior Double Room. The staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was a treat, especially the pastries! The location couldn’t be better for sightseeing, but parking was a bit tough. a nice spot to explore Sintra!
